Harry R. "Bob" Davis
Bob died peacefully at the Gafney Home in Rochester, New Hampshire on April 21, 2017, at the age of 82. He was born in Dover, New Hampshire on June 4, 1934, the son of Harry A. and Echo Noyes Davis. He was a lifelong resident of Dover, New Hampshire, except for four years in the U S Navy and the past two years in Rochester, New Hampshire.
He graduated from Dover High School in 1952. He retired as a ship fitter from the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard after 35 years of service.
The oldest of eight children he was predeceased by his parents and siblings, Betty Lou, Linda, Michael and Shirley Davis Quintal and is survived by Billie Cote, of Somersworth, Donald of Dover, and Martha Davis Wright and her husband Earl of Thomaston, Georgia.
A graveside service will be held later in the year at Pine Hill cemetery, Dover, New Hampshire.
