Harry F. Drown, 70, of 41 Rockwood Terrace in Auburn died peacefully at home on November 24, 2001 after a lengthy illness. Mr. Drown was born on August 6, 1931 in Biddeford, Maine the son of the late Marie-Ange Houle Berry. He was an amateur boxer known as ''Kid Brown'' and moved into the professional boxing ring as ''KO Brown.'' He worked in the printing and bookbinding industry locally for many years. Family members include; his wife of 38 years, Irene (Janusauskas) Drown; one son, Scott Drown of Auburn; three daughters, Karen Bellotte of Manchester, Judith Brown of Charleston, Maine and Deborah Perham of Biddeford, Maine; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three sisters, Doris Dumont and Alice Cyr both of Sanford, Maine and Julie Gerrish of Alfred, Maine. There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 1st at noon at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery Chapel. Burial will take place at a later date.
