Harry O. Lewis

Harry O. Lewis Jr., 75, of Bow died February 8, 2006 at his home after a brief illness. Mr. Lewis was born on November 24, 1930 in Sutton, NH, the son of the late Harry and Eleanor (Chadwick) Lewis. He graduated from Simonds High School in 1949 and joined the U.S. Marines after high school. Mr. Lewis worked for Merrimack Farmers Exchange for many years, he was a truck driver for Auclair Transportation until 1980 and Holmes Transportation until his retirement in 1986. He was a member of the local 633 Truckers Union. Mr. Lewis was a U.S. Marine. He loved to hunt, fish, gardening and collect antique cars, He had great work ethics and loved to cut cords of wood with his son. Mr. Lewis was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Family members include; his wife of fifty years, Lucille (Morin) Lewis; one son Jeffrey and his wife Debra Lewis of Henniker, NH; two grandchildren Jordon and Samatha Lewis both from Henniker. There are no services.
