Hartford Faulkner

Hartford Faulkner, 86, of 12 Briarwood Drive, died Tuesday December 20, 2005 after a short period of declining health. He was born on January 1, 1919 in Houlton, Maine to Benjamin and Alma Faulkner. He graduated from Houlton High School and soon after moved to Hartford, Connecticut where he met and married Edna M. Ball. He was predeceased by Edna 9 years ago after 30 happy and joyful years together. His family includes two sisters; Deltha Sweener and Kathleen Faulkner both of Houlton, Maine. One son; Daniel Faulkner of Epsom, one step-son David Ball of Bedford; four grandchildren, Rebecca and Daniel Ball of Bedford, Aaron and Heather who live out of state. Harford enjoyed hunting and fishing, taking trips with his wife and time spent with his grandchildren. There are no calling hours, private services are being planned by the family. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, N.H. is directing the arrangements.
