Harvey William Griffin

Harvey W. Griffin, 67, of Harrisville died on May 19, 2004 at home. Mr. Griffin was born on March 1, 1937 in Alstead, the son of the late Edward and Pearl (Dean) Griffin. He graduated from Vilas High School and then went on to serve in the U. S. Army where he was stationed in Germany. He worked as a laborer for McMillan Company in Keene. Mr. Griffin enjoyed sports and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Survivors include; one daughter, Laurie Howell of CA; three sisters, Alberta Moore of Sarasota, FL, Beverly J. Moore of Alstead, and Frances Way of Claremont; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Charlotte (Way) Griffin who died in 1982. There will be a private graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 360 Route 101, Unit 501, Bedford, NH 03110 or Hospice.
