Hattie Mae Small

Hattie Mae Small (Rackliff) of Litchfield, NH went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 11th at the age of 88. She was the wife of the late Charles Small and spent 62 wonderful years together, literally building their home of 60 years.

Hattie was born in the little town of Vienna, Maine, daughter of Joseph and Roxie Rackliff. She was predeceased by her four brothers and one sister. Her surviving sister, Esther Hoffman, lives in Turner, Maine. She is survived by her five children, Robert and his wife Beverly Small, Dennis Small, Roxann and her husband Charles Ulee, Linda Small, and Chuck Small Jr. Her son, Richard, passed way and was predeceased by his partner, Sandy. Hattie also leaves behind 11 grandkids and 19 great grandkids, many nieces, nephews and friends. Her firm but loving guidance helped mold the loved ones in her life, and was instrumental in raising others.

Her number one joy in life was hugging her grandkids and great grandkids. She also enjoyed yard sales, gardening, and, of course, bingo.
