Helen P. Carlson

Helen P. Carlson, 74, of Wilton died Saturday, April 23, 2005 at Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Mrs. Carlson was born on February 25, 1931 in Bangor, Maine. She spent most of her childhood as a foster child living in several foster homes in Maine. Prior to her marriage, she worked as a nurse’s aid at Perkins School in Lancaster, MA and several nursing homes in Maine and Boston, MA. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother and enjoyed her home, traveling and shopping. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, John Carlson; daughter, Ingrid A. Carlson of Milford; a half sister, Dorthy Pason of Owls Head, Maine; a foster son, Ken Revitt and family of London, England; a brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Mitchell of Shawnee, Kansas; and several nieces and nephews in the Kansas City. There will be a Memorial Reception on Wednesday, April 27th from 2:30 until 3:00 PM with a Memorial Service at 3:00 PM at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire (an affiliate of Phaneuf Funeral Home), 243 Hanover Street in Manchester.
