Helen Christy

Helen P. Christy, 93, of Manchester died with family by her side on April 20, 2016. She was the daughter of Meletis and Christitsa Pouliopoulos. She graduated from Central High School, attended Hesser Business College and the N.H. Institute of Banking. She worked for the Amoskeag National Bank for many years and part-time for Manchester Federal Savings and Loan.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Louis Christy. She loved her family dearly and leaves a son, Louis Christy, Jr. and his wife Helen Johnson Christy and her granddaughter Stephanie Christy; a son, Meletios Christy and his wife Laura Scribner Christy; a sister, Antonia Tsialas and her husband Demetrios Tsialas; a sister-in-law, Fula Pouliopoulos and many nephews, nieces and a Godson, Paul Aganski. There are no calling hours. The funeral service with be private. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Manchester Animal Shelter, 490 Dunbarton Road, Manchester, NH 03102.
