Helen Marjorie Dooly

MANCHESTER -- Helen Marjorie (Johnson) Dooly died June 1, 2008, in Community Hospice House, Merrimack, after a brief illness. She was born in Algona, Iowa, to Mildred (Guy) Johnson and Andrew H. Johnson. She received her nursing degree at Mercy Hospital, Des Moines, Iowa, and was a member of the Junior Association at Elliot Hospital as well as the Visiting Nurse Association. She was employed for many years at Commodities Market in Hooksett. She was predeceased by her husband, John E. Dooly, M.D., in 1994. Family members include a son, Michael P. Dooly of Goffstown; and a daughter, Patricia D. Murphy of Dunbarton. IN HER LIFE: She was a loving and generous wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. Among her family members are three grandchildren, Sara Bernard of Goffstown, Beth Dooly of Goffstown and Eli Connarton of Somerville, Mass. SERVICES: Memorial donations may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association/Hospice, 33 S. Commercial St., No. 401, Manchester, 03101. There are no public services. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Bedford.
