Helen Gail Fairbanks, 61, of New Ipswich died on June 9, 2004 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center following a brief illness. Ms. Fairbanks was born on September 17, 1942 in Derby, Connecticut, the daughter of the late George and Marion (Kucen) Fairbanks. She was a math middle school teacher in the New Ipswich School District. After retirement, she was a substitute teacher in the Greenville, Mason, and Jaffrey areas. She also worked as a Title I tutor in Wilton. She was loved by her children she taught and collogues and will greatly be missed. Her family members include; one brother, George Fairbanks and his wife Barbara of Woodbury, Connecticut; one nephew, Mathew Fairbanks of Woodbury, Connecticut, and one niece, Jamison Fairbanks of Boston, Massachusetts. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, June 19th at 1:00 p.m. at the Mason Congregational Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Monadnock Humane Society, P.O.
