Helen Eleni Fosberg

Helen ''Eleni'' Fosberg of Manchester, died September 28, 2000 at the Ridgewood Nursing Home in Bedford. Mrs. Fosberg was born in the region of Sparta, Laconia Greece and immigrated to this country in the mid-1960's. She lived in Belmont, MA then moved to Brooklyn, NY. There she became an active Jehovah's Witness, met and married Walter Fosberg and served at the World Headquarters of Jehovah's Witnesses. In 1976 she and her husband moved to California. In 1990 they moved to Manchester, NH and served with the South and West Congregations in Manchester and for a period with the Wilton Congregation. For the past year they have served with the Lynn, MA Greek speaking congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Walter Fosberg; her son, Demitris Kontozisis and grandchildren, Apostoli and Joanna of Athens, Greece; her sisters Anna Xenakis and Pipina Gerasimos; and her brother Demitris Psichogios of Belmont, MA. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 30, 2000 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 97 Daniel Plummer Road, Goffstown, NH.
