Helen D. Kerry passed away peacefully in the company of family members on the morning of Wednesday, April 3,2024 at her home in Hooksett, NH after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 71 years old. Born on April 11,1952 in Manchester, NH, she was the daughter of Wilford Paquette and Geraldine (Coburn) Paquette.
She was the wife of Robert Kerry. They were married on August 21,1981 in Annapolis MD.
She was educated in the Manchester school system, and later in life proudly earned her GED. She was employed in child daycare for many years but was also a full-time advocate and caregiver for her two special needs sons.
A resident of Hooksett for the past 38 years, she enjoyed cooking, reading, painting, sewing, and quilting. But most of all, she enjoyed being with her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons Robert Groleau and Daniel Groleau, both of Allenstown, NH, and daughter Michelle and her husband Keith Lambert of Sanbornton, NH, grandchildren Samantha and her husband Brandon Pelkey of Cornish ME, Ashleigh Lambert and her fiancé Arik Fenstermacher of Rockport, Texas, great-grandchildren Erin and Noah Pelkey. She is also survived by a brother, Ronald Paquette of Tilton NH, and sisters Janice St. Hillaire of Manchester, NH, Gert and husband Roland Foster of Mauldin, SC, Gloria and husband Albert Willett of Enosburg Falls, VT, sister-in-law Patricia and husband Raymond Guilmette of Perry ME, and sister-in-law Linda Kerry of Verona, VA, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the dedicated efforts of the staff of the Solinski Cancer Center in Manchester, NH, and at Granite VNA in Concord, NH. In addition, the family would also like to thank the Granite VNA hospice group for the dedicated and compassionate service provided to Helen and her family.
Cremation arrangements are being provided by the Cremation Society of New Hampshire. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Helen’s memory can be made to Granite VNA in Concord NH. Kindly visit www.csnh.com to leave an online condolence message for the family.
