Helen Marie Anne Richards

It is with a heavy heart to announce the passing of Helen Marie Anne Berntsen Richards, 59. She passed Tuesday October 1, 2019 at her loving daughters' home in Londonderry, NH after a short battle with lung cancer. She was born on October 26, 1959 in Boston, MA. The daughter of the late Harold Berntsen and Mary Dyer Berntsen.
She was a 1977 graduate of Pinkerton Academy. She worked for many years as a school bus driver. She is predeceased by her father Harold Berntsen and sister Cathleen McElroy.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and many fur babies.
She is survived by her son Paul Richards of Manchester, NH, daughter Michelle Richards and husband Michael Buco of Londonderry, NH, three grandchildren; Jasmine Richards, Mia Buco, and Alexander Buco. Brother Harold Berntsen and his wife Gabby, brother Christopher Berntsen and his wife Susan, sister Francis Lelacheur and her husband John, brother Michael Berntsen and his wife Susan, sister Ann Marie Berntsen and lastly her baby brother/son Shawn Berntsen and his wife Katie and many nieces and nephews.
A private cremation and burial will be held.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Rockingham VNA and hospice; 137 Epping Rd., Exeter, NH 03833. The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Joanie and Heidi for their kind and compassionate care.
