Henry W. Kirchdorfer, 85, of Rochester died April 4, 2004 at Rochester Manor following a lengthy illness. Mr. Kirchdorfer was born on September 20, 1918 in Dedham, MA the son of the late John and Mary (Cnbl) Kirchdorfer. He was a U S Army veteran who served in World War II. He was a mechanical machinist for several shoe shops in the Dedham, MA and Haverhill, MA area. Mr. Kirchdorfer retired and moved to Rochester in 1983. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Family members include; his wife of 21 years, Bertha (Garland) Kirchdorfer; three sons, Raymond Kirchdorfer, Richard Kirchdorfer and David Kirchdorfer all of Massachusetts; one daughter, Roberta Kirchdorfer of Massachusetts; one step-son, Paul Johnson and his wife, Phyllis of Plaistow, NH; three step-daughters, Leona Wright of Somersworth, NH, Geraldine Whitney of Rochester, NH and Roxanne Pagan of Florida; 15 grandchildren and many step grandchildren. There will be a Memorial Reception on Thursday, April 8th from 1:00 until 2:00 PM with a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester.
