Henry J. Love

Henry J. "Bud" Love passed away on December 15th in Concord after a period of declining health. He was born on August 22, 1930 and raised in Concord, the son of Frederick Love and Barbara (Gifford) Love.
He attended local schools, graduating from Concord High and UNH. He was a member of the CHS State Champion Basketball team and captain of the 1949 squad. 
He was a Marine Corps Veteran serving active duty during the Korean War.
In 1953 he married Helen Filides and they celebrated 70 years of marriage in September. Bud's career was as a retailer grocer and he was the owner of Filides Mkt. in Concord as well as the Bud's Star Mkts. In Alton and Farmington.
Survivors include his wife Helen F. Love, his son Richard Love (Karen) and Karen Brock (Bruce). He also leaves behind four grandchildren and a great granddaughter along with many nieces and nephews.
