BECK, HERBERT H. "Herbie" of Tilton, NH, formerly of East Boston, MA, passed peacefully at NH Veterans Home, Tilton, NH on May 16, 2021 at the age of 85. He was the husband of the late Ruth Faiella.

An honorably discharged veteran, Herbie served in the U.S. Army as a military policeman during the 1950's.

He was the best stepdad imaginable and treated all his wife's children as if they were his own. Herbie was truly a wonderful man.

He was the son of the late Samuel and Betty Beck of MA and cherished stepdad of Mark Dover and wife Karen of ME, Norman Rowe of FL, Dawn Chestnut, Erik Faiella and Adam Faiella, all of NH, Melody Stauff and partner Robert Viera, Ruby Parziale and husband James, and Joseph Faiella and wife Kristin, all of MA. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Ruth, Herbie was predeceased by his stepsons, Clayton Rowe, George Rowe and Frank Faiella, all previously from NH.

Arrangements: Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Interment at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH on Friday, June 4 at 12 Noon. The family would like to thank the NH Veterans Home for giving him the same care as if he was a family member. We will always be grateful.
