Herbert M. Sherman

Herbert M. Sherman 79 of Concord NH passed away on February 28 at the CRVN Hospice House after losing his battle with cancer.

He leaves behind the love of his life Elizabeth (Blackey) Sherman to whom he was married 57 years. He also leaves 6 children: Randall Sherman, Therese Blake, Dale Sherman, Pamela Sherman, Herbert Sherman Jr., and Donna Coulter. In addition, he had 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren as well as many other family members.

He loved his country and served in the armed forces. Herbert enjoyed the outdoors, whether it be hunting, cookouts, the beach, going for long walks, or his favorite pastime fishing. From the smallest stream to the great Atlantic Ocean, but his passion was fly fishing and making his own flies. Other activities he enjoyed were playing pool, cards, bowling and he especially loved spending time with his family.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A celebration of life to honor Herbert will be held at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 172 King St Boscawen NH on March 6 and is open to family and friends.
