Hermas J. Richard

Hermas J. Richard, 76, of Weare, NH, died at his daughter's home on February 20, 2005. He was born in Laccolle, Quebec, Canada, on November 10, 1928, the son the late Solomon and Rose (LaBonte) Richard and lived 20 years in North Swanzey before moving to Weare, NH six years ago. He was a US Navy Veteran and worked many years with Allied Signal Corp. Hermas was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Family members include his wife of 49 years, Mary Ellen (Gallant) Richard of Weare, NH, his son, Peter J. Richard of Milford, NH, his daughter, Susan Nims of Weare, NH, four grandchildren, Justine Nims, Matthew Nims, Dakota Richard and Dustin Richard, a brother, Harvey Richard of North Adams, Massachusetts, three sisters; Bertha Arigoni, Margaret Corbier and Jeannette Lussier, all of North Adams, Massachusetts, many nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no calling hours and spring burial will be in the NH State Veteran Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
