Hope Carter Ayers

Hope (Carter) Ayers of Concord, NH died Saturday, April 21 after a short illness. She was the widow of Dwight L Ayers who died in 1980. Born in Salem, Ma on Oct 5,1919, she was the daughter of the late John and Me Carter. A graduate of UNH , she spent many happy years in volunteerism, traveling, handwork, gardening, reading, and walking. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in -law, Jane and Robert Reever of Westford, MA, Judith and Frederick McManus of Nashua, NH, and six grandchildren, Robin and Richard LaPolla of Dracut, Ma, Derek and Michelle Reever of Marietta,GA, Matthew McManus of Nashua, NH, Jason and Kelly McManus of Anchorage,AK, and Nathan McManus,currently in Kosovo. Three great granddaughters Kristin LaPolla, Elisha Hope McManus and Grace McManus. Alsosurviving are her brother and sister-in-law, John and Gladys Carter of Barrington, NH, and six nieces and their families. A memorial service will be held on May 12 at 10 AM. at Barrows Hall in the Heritage Heights Community, East Side Drive, Concord, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Havenwood Heritage Heights, 33 Christian Ave, Concord, NH, 03301 or Home Health and Hospice, 22 Prospect St, Nashua,NH 03060.
