Hope was born on September 21, 1969 and passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018.
Hope was born in Concord, NH, at Concord Hospital to Roy and Bertha Goodwin. In her younger years she grew up in Weare, NH; a place she loved (and always told us she was going to buy back our house someday to live in when she was a kid/teenager). She lived in Scottsmoor, FL for 2 years from ages 9 to 11, then, moved back to Lunenburg, VT where she continued to grow up. She attended Concord High School then Job Corps in Vergennes, VT, where she learned welding and became the first female welder trained there. She met Michael Yeargle during her teenage years and went on to marry him and have 3 children, a daughter, Danielle, and twin boys, Hunter and Tavis. She went to work at the family business for many years, along with a few other part time jobs, until she ultimately retired due to illness.
She is preceded by her parents Roy and Bertha Goodwin and brother Dave Goodwin. She is survived by her husband Mike, daughter, Danielle, sons, Hunter and Tavis, grandson Deklin, brother John Evans of Surprise, AZ, sisters Cheryl Lucier of Mims, FL, Darlene Egan of Lunenburg, VT, Brenda McKay of Lyndonville, VT and Robin Monahan of Gilman, VT, Lorraine Goodwin, many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces, as well as many close friends she considered family.
Hope had a great sense of humor and enjoyed being around her family and friends, especially her grandson Deklin. She enjoyed time spent at Perkins Landing. She loved listening and dancing to country music and was always up for an adventure. You could always find her doodling, drawing or doing something artsy.
