Hope P. Heath

Hope Crowley Heath passed away at home in Windham, NH surrounded by her family on July 11, 2020 at the age of 87 after a brief battle with cancer.

Hope was born in Old Orchard Beach, ME on March 1,1933 and was raised in Tower Hill in Lawrence, MA. She graduated from Lowell Teachers College and worked as an elementary school teacher until she married her sweetheart, Wallace J. Heath of Eau Claire, WI, on November 19, 1955 at St. Augustine Church in Lawrence, MA.

Hope and Wally spent 64 wonderful years together enjoying life - a life rich with family and friends and full of adventure. They traveled many highways and lived all over the country while raising their eight children before settling in Windham. Hope also was a talented singer and entertainer, performing on the radio as a child and singing and performing in musicals throughout her adult life. Her talents and positive outlook on life earned her the title of Miss NH Senior America in 1994 where she went on to participate in the National Senior America pageant and make many new lifelong friends. Hope was a warm, kind, and generous person who opened up her home to everyone. She enjoyed traveling throughout the US and Europe, exercising, taking walks, singing, and of course, telling stories. Hope will be sadly missed but fondly remembered.

Hope was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Crowley and Mary Decker Crowley and her sisters June Traynor and Theresa Pierce.

Hope is survived by her husband, Wally, and their children, Holly Wunderlich, Reed Heath, Belinda Hanke, Todd Heath, Kimberly Link, Troy Heath, Scott Heath, Danyelle Gourley and their spouses, 18 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held in honor of Hope at St. Matthew's Church, 2 Searles Rd. Windham NH. 03087 on Friday, July 17th at 10:30 am, which will be open to all family and friends. Burial will be held at New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH at 2 pm. Social distancing and masks will be required at all times.
