Horace enjoyed life and loved spending time with his family and friends. Dad had many things that brought him happiness golfing, bowling, family bike rides and also yearly vacations. We did several driving trips to Florida to visit Disney World or to Colorado to visit Moms older brother and family. The driving trips would go through many states sometimes the top states and return home through the middle of the country or by the lower states and also return home through the middle states. Dad and Mom wanted me and my brother to see all we could of these United States. These were the best vacations and of course when Dad was driving on these vacations, he could smell a bridge coming up that it was time for a pit stop and for it to be Moms turn to drive. Dad didn’t like bridges. LOL. Dad and Mom also enjoyed going to casinos whether it was Atlantic City, Las Vegas or Foxwoods. Dad always did well playing the slots and somehow always was able to play for many hours off $20 dollars. Weekends in the summer would be spent at the camp in Barnstead, NH.

In Dad’s memory let us be happy, smile, laugh and make great memories with family and friends. Instead of sending flowers, we kindly request that you donate to the Alzheimer’s Association to find a cure and the DAV for Veterans.
