Howard M. Strong

Howard Merton Strong Sr. died peacefully at the age of 83 on Friday May 28, 2021 at Riverside Rest Home in Dover N.H. He was born on February 10, 1938 in Chardon Ohio to Harry and Virginia (Stull) Strong.
Howard was a loving husband and best friend to his wife of 56 years, Kathleen (Meehan) Strong, together they had two sons, Howard. Strong Jr. and his wife Vivian, and Hayden Beatham-Strong and his wife Amy. He also leaves behind his beloved granddaughter Amber Beatham-Strong.
Howard was predeceased by siblings Ronald and Shirley. He is survived by siblings Margie, Robert, Brian and Donna, and will be missed by all his nieces and nephews. Howard served in the U.S. Airforce as an Airman 1st Class. He also worked as a machinist for many of the local surrounding factories, and as a mechanic for many years at Prince's Garage in Somersworth, N.H. His hobbies included fishing hunting and woodworking.
