Manchester - Ida L. (Berthiaume) Boulanger, 83, of 259 Chestnut Street, died peacefully in her sleep Thursday, February 5, at the Catholic Medical Center, after a short but courageous fight with cancer. She was born in Manchester, NH the daughter of Hormedas and Laura (Moreau) Berthiaume and lived there all her life. She leaves her daughter Pauline L Pinkes of Worcester, MA, and a son Albert M Boulanger of Panama City, FL, seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and her longtime helper Priscilla and dear friend Claire. She was predeceasd by two other sons, Maurice H and Robert E Boulanger. She was educated in the Manchester School System. During her life she worked as an assembler in many shoe manufacturing facilities in Manchester and retired in 1984. She was an avid doll collector and also enjoyed playing Bingo with friends. The family is in charge of arrangements and there will be no calling hours. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 16 2004 at St.Augustin's Church, 383 Beech Street in Manchester. Burial will follow at St. Augustin's Cemetery in Manchester.
