Inez Mae Hollis

Inez Mae Hollis, 97, of Manchester and formerly of Amherst, NH died December 12, 2004 at Courville of Manchester following a brief illness. She was born on November 18, 1907 in Tacoma, Washington the daughter of the late Walter T. and June C. (Howie) Webster. Mrs. Hollis was a loving and dedicated homemaker who cherished her husband and family. She enjoyed hosting family gatherings and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Inez and her late husband, George, were avid photographers who traveled the United States and Canada taking pictures. Their landscape photographs graced the pages of magazines and calendars throughout the years. Family members include; one son, George W. Hollis Jr. and his wife, Barbara, of Amherst; one daughter, Cecilia Russell of San Diego, CA; five grandchildren, Geoffrey Hollis and his wife, Sharon, of Dunstable, MA, June Koble and her husband, Roger, of Colorado Springs, CO and formerly of Brookline, NH, Glenn Hollis and his wife, Irene, of Frederick, MD, Nerissa Russell of Ithica, NY and Robert Tucker Russell of San Diego, CA; 12 great grandchildren; and one nephew. She was predeceased by her husband, George W. Hollis Sr. who died December 3, 1998. She was also predeceased by her sister, Juel Benedict. There will be a Memorial Gathering on Thursday, February 3rd from 3:30 until 4:00 with a Memorial Service at 4:00 PM at Merrimack Valley Baptist Church located at Route 101A and Boston Post Road in Merrimack. Rev. Larry Clouse will be officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, MA.
