Inez A. Rohloff, 82, of 5 Banks Road, Gilsum died on November 4, 2001 at Genesis Health Care in Keene after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Rohloff was born on November 18, 1918 in Roxbury, NH, the daughter of the late George L. and Edith C. (Bruce) Mark. She was employed at May's Food Store in Keene for over 10 years. Inez also worked at First National Store as a grocery Cashier. Before retirement she worked at AKR Company for over 20 years. Mrs. Rohloff had been an active member of her community and her contributions included; being a past member of the Gilsum School PTA, a life member the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 85, a member of the Gilsum Church Ladies Aid Society and had served on the Gilsum Rock Swap Committees from 1962 until 1998. She was a parishioner of Gilsum Congregation Church and a Ballot Clerk for the Town of Gilsum. Family members include her beloved husband of 61 years, Arthur K. Rohloff Sr. ; two sons, Arthur K. Rohloff Jr. of Gilsum and Robert M. Rohloff of Alstead; three daughters, Carol A. Ballou of Gilsum, Claudette M. Pappas of Keene and Susan Castor of Gilsum; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Edith Wright of Keene; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by one brother Walter Mark. There will be no calling hours. A private memorial service will be at a later date. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Gilsum Rescue or Marlow Ambulance.
