Jacqueline Lorraine Blaisdell, 87, of Derry, NH passed away peacefully on July 10th, 2020. She was surrounded by her loving family who will miss her greatly.
Jackie was born February 25, 1933 in Somersworth, NH where she grew up. She was predeceased by her parents James Sherman and Viola (Fournier)Sherman of Somersworth, NH.
She is a graduate of Somersworth High School in NH, raised a family and worked at Raytheon in Waltham and Sudbury for ten years. She worked at the Hidden Valley Campground for twenty-one years as a Campground Receptionist. In her retirement she enjoyed her grandchildren, bird watching, country music (Alan Jackson), traveling the country, camping and shopping.
She was survived by her loving husband Richard Blaisdell, her brother: James Sherman and his wife Gloria of Concord. Two sons, Robert Blaisdell and his wife Jill from Lunenburg, MA; Richard Blaisdell and his wife Mary from Silver Spring, MD; Three daughters Dianne Howe from Marlboro, MA; Cheryl Bartlett and David Gloria from Rhode Island, Linda Rousseau from Boylston, MA. Seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Her legacy is still growing.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She recently celebrated her 68th Wedding Anniversary to her beloved husband Richard Blaisdell. She could light up a room with her smile. The most loving and caring person we ever knew. There is a giant hole in our heart, and all the hearts of anyone that knew her. No matter how much pain she was in she always managed to have a smile on her face and "I love you", on her lips. We will all miss her emoji text messages. Rest in peace until we meet again.
ARRANGEMENTS: The family will have a Celebration of Life in the Fall that will be announced at a later date.
