Jacqueline (Laflamme) Morin

CONCORD, NH – Long-time Concord resident, Jacqueline (Laflamme) Morin passed away at Hospice House on the morning of October 8, 2022. She was 92 years old.

Jackie was born to Ludger Laflamme and Melina Poulin in Waterville, ME. She resided in nearby Winslow, ME until marrying and relocating to New Hampshire.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She relished the time that she spent with children. She was gentle, nurturant and kind. An avid gardener, her front-yard flowers often attracted comments from walkers by. She was a talented cook, an early adoptee of whole foods and vegetarian meals. She became a dedicated walker for health and fitness. She and husband, David were frequently spotted taking long walks together around town.

Current events were a passion of hers. She kept up with many news sources and was always ready to share an opinion on most any political topic. An avid reader, she always was reading something. In later years, she came to enjoy large print books from Concord Public Library.

She will be remembered for how she lovingly cared for others along with her grace and warmth.

She was predeceased by husband, David, son, Stephen and grandson, Greg. She is survived by a sister, Johanna Brown of Waterville, ME; a son, Jeffrey Morin of Concord; a daughter, Laura Chandronnait of Concord; along with seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She will be laid to rest in a private memorial service at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, where her ashes will lie eternally next to those of her husband, David.
