Jacques Rioux

Jacques “Jake” Rioux, 84, of Manchester, NH, passed away January 5, 2023, after a lengthy struggle with dementia. Jacques was born on July 30, 1938, in Saint Angele De Merici, P.Q., Canada.  Jacques passed away peacefully at Greenbriar Nursing Home in Nasua, NH surrounded by his family.

Jacques served and was honorably discharged from the United States Army. He was also a union carpenter and enjoyed furniture making.  He will be most remembered for the love he had for his family, and he will be greatly missed.

Jacques is survived by his wife, Rachel Rioux; his son David Rioux; and his stepsons Henri Dionne Jr., Steven Dionne and Cory Dionne Sr. He also leaves behind 8 grandchildren: Sydney Bernaby, Evan Dionne, Benjamin Dionne, Ashley Reidy, Cory Dionne Jr., Shea Marquardt, Jacob Marquardt, and Robert Fennall. He was predeceased by his parents, Misael Rioux and Marie-Louise (Sirois) Rioux, five brothers, and six sisters.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass being held at 10:00am Thursday, February 16, 2023, at St Joseph the Worker Church, 777 West Hollis St in Nashua, with cemetery committal to follow immediately at St Louis Cemetery in Nashua.
