James F Clarke Jr, 74, born 16 January 1952 died in Manchester NH on 2 March 2026 after a brief illness. A native of Manchester he was the eldest son of James F Clarke, originally of Lowell MA, and June Estella Watts Ingle of Manchester. The family lived in Philadelphia, Levittown and Morrisville, PA where Jim attended local Catholic schools before returning to Manchester where he was a student at Central High School before enlisting in the USMC like his father. An avid Phillies baseball fan and a football fan he also enjoyed fresh-water and deep-sea fishing and closely followed local and national politics. Jim was a Teamster and a former employee of Silver Brothers and The Union Leader. 

He is survived by his stepmother, Valentine of Manchester Township, NJ, an uncle, Richard of Arlington, VA, a brother, Michael of Englewood, CO, a sister, Lizanne Barry, a niece, Fallon (Joshua) Schnabel and a grand nephew, Maximus Velez, all of Manchester, NH. 

A Single Ash Burial will be held in memory of Jim at Life Forest in Hillsborough, NH at a later date in an outdoor ceremony open to the public. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Jim's name to the NHSPCA or Manchester Animal Society.
