James C. Clements, 82, of 6 Ravine Road, Amherst, NH died September 16, 2004, at his home. He was born in Saskatchewan, Canada on March 16, 1922, the son of John and Lulu (Brown) Clements and moved to Sudbury, Massachusetts in 1957, before moving to Amherst, NH in 1967. He loved serving with the Royal Canadian Air Force during WW II and later enjoyed flying his own plane. Mr. Clements worked at Raytheon for 10 years while living in Sudbury, Ma., and worked as an engineer for Sanders Associates for 22 years while living in Amherst. Family members include his wife of 59 years, Ilene (Batterson) Cements of Amherst, two sons; Leslie Clements of Cheshire, Connecticut and Mark Clements of Amherst, NH, a daughter, Vicki Clements of Amherst, NH, two grandchildren, two brothers; Ross Clements and Frank Clements, a sister, May Clements all of Saskatchewan, Canada, several nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no visiting hours and services will be private.
