Manchester, NH – James “Jim” Connelly, age 63, passed away at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack on January 12 , 2026 after a period of declining health. Jim was in born in Manchester, NH the son of James and Leslie Connelly.
Jim is survived by his parents, James and Leslie Connelly, brother and sister in law, Chris and Joanne Connelly, and nephew Drew Connelly. Jim was predeceased by his wife Roberta “Bobbi” Connelly.
Jim was employed by Connelly Reporting and Videoconferencing for many years. Prior to that he was employed by Rapid Response Marketing.
Jim was a talented woodworker. He played in a men’s hockey league and enjoyed the locker room banter and on-ice chirping. He also cherished occasional trips to Pittsburg, NH where he and Bobbi would fish and enjoy the peaceful shores of Back Lake and rides on the many miles of logging roads in New Hampshire’s beautiful Great North Woods. Most notably Jim enjoyed the rides that he and Bobbi would take to the coast so that their black and chocolate labs could run on the beach.
The family is grateful for the medical care provided at the Elliot Hospital and are particularly thankful for the kind, compassionate, end of life care provided by the amazing staff at the Community Hospice House. A special thanks to Charlie and Patty Pierson, two exceptionally kind and thoughtful individuals who were so much more than wonderful neighbors to Jim and Bobbi.
