James Patrick Diggins

James Patrick Diggins, 54, died Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 4:40 PM in Weare, NH. He was born on March 17, 1963 in Tampa, FL, the son of James Edward Diggins and Helen Rose (Vattes) Diggins.

He was the husband of Nancy Elizabeth (Doyle) Diggins. They were married on January 25, 1992 in Sanbornton, NH.

He attended Nashua Schools and graduated from Nashua High School. He obtained his Associate Degree from NH Technical Institute in Concord, NH and he obtained his Bachelor's Degree from Southern New Hampshire University.

He was an amazing husband and father that loved life, his family and friends. He had a passion for deep sea fishing, snowmobiling, four-wheeling, building decks/fencing and target shooting. He was an NRA member. He was a big fan of the Patriots' and NASCAR racing. He loved traveling, especially going on tropical island cruises. He was very proud of his Irish heritage, constantly displaying it through his big Irish sense of humor. He enjoyed working at Philips Healthcare, Emergency Care Solutions as a Software Quality Engineer.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Diggins; son, Shawn Patrick Diggins; daughter, Amanda Erin Diggins and her boyfriend William Astle; and mother-in-law, Constance Doyle of Hillsboro; five sisters and their husbands, Diana and Barry Isaacs of Leland, NC, Kathryn Urquhart of Fort Mill, SC, Janet and Frank Prince of Nashua, Mary Margaret "Peggy" and Walter Matte of Nashua, and Frances Griffin of Natick, MA; brother-in-law and his wife, Dr. Donald Doyle and Christina Doyle of Kalamazoo, MI; Aunt Ruth (Diggins) Landry of Leesburg, FL; Uncle John Vattes and his wife Dorothy of Manchester; and by several cousins, nieces and nephews.


ARRANGEMENTS: His Memorial Gathering will be held in the Cremation Society of NH, 243 Hanover St., Manchester on Saturday, August 19 from 2:00 to 3:00 followed by a Life Celebration at 3:00P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Diggins Family, Every Star Farm to help with supporting the many horses that they adopt and care for at 106 Abijah Bridge Road, Weare, NH 03281.
