James J. Doyle Sr. Local Business Owner James J. Doyle Sr., 74, of Nashua, NH died peacefully at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH, Thursday, February 22, 2007. Mr. Doyle was born August 6, 1932, in Medford, MA, son of the late William & Florence (Brown) Doyle. He was a graduate of Medford High School, Medford, MA class of 1951. He has resided in Nashua, NH for 39 years and formerly in Billerica, MA and Westford, MA. For over 25 years he owned and operated The Meat Shoppe in Milford, NH., with his wife and family. He had also been Co-Owner of The Meat Shoppe in Merrimack, NH. He was previously employed at 20th Century Supermarkets in Nashua. In addition, Jim was a retired US Marine, serving in the Korean War; devoted and active member of the Nashua Elks, and an avid golfer. He leaves behind a beloved wife of 52 Years, Marie Doyle of Nashua, NH, two sons and a daughter-in-law, James J. Doyle, Thomas J. & Linda Doyle, four grandchildren, Christine, Stephanie, Heather & Chelsea Doyle of Milford, NH, a brother, John Doyle of Nashua, NH and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, William Doyle; and a sister, Mary Riley.
