James G Myers

James Gordon Myers, 75, passed into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on July 29, 2025 at his home in Littleton, NH after a long battle with lung disease. He was born on August 10, 1949 in Nunda, NY to Ralph Gordon Myers and Stella Mallaber Myers, the third child of eight children.

Jim graduated from Nunda Central School in 1967. He then went on a few years later to get his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Arts from Buffalo State College. He also had a three-year diploma from Elohim Bible Institute in Castile, NY.

He married his high school sweetheart, Geraldine (Geri) Kuhn on January 26, 1968, and they had three children together, Carrie, Jamie, and Jennie.

Jim was a “preacher, teacher, and carpenter” (he liked to say) and lived these rolls out with passion in each position he held through the years. He loved working with his hands, creating with wood or painting with watercolors. He also loved to hunt but had been unable to do so for the last few years. His family was near and dear to his heart, and he was so proud of their many accomplishments. One of his greatest joys in life was sharing God’s salvation message with anyone who would listen.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, parents, and siblings Becky, Debbie, Doug, and Arne, and also great granddaughter Kaia Jean. He is survived by his loving wife of more than 57 years, Geri, and his children Carrie Myers, Lisbon, NH; Jamie Myers (Mari), Littleton, NH; and Jennifer Pratt (Mark), Harpers Ferry, WV. He is also survived by three sisters, Linda Saunders (Ted), Warrenton, VA; Christine Shanahan, Gainesville, VA; and Susan Myers, Dansville, NY. Lastly, but so importantly, he is survived by thirteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Faith Bible Church, 355 Union Street, Littleton, NH. A reception with light refreshments will immediately follow the service.

Those who wish may make a contribution in Jim’s memory to his favorite mission agency CrossWay International (gocrossway.org) or to mikeroweWORKSFoundation (mikeroweworks.org).
