James V. Galgano

Jim rose up to be in the arms of Heaven Tuesday night, November 2, 2021.

He loved to go searching for antiques. And he also loved classical music, spending time each day listening to his favorite sonatas and sonatinas. But when he played the piano it was jazz all the way.

Jim was an accomplished and gifted artist, winning awards and illustrating books in New York City. None can compare to his portrait painting of people, many of whom submitted requests for him to paint their pets, whether it be dogs or cats or horses. He often painted portraits of children.

Jim’s greatest love of all was spending time with his triplet brothers, Bill and Bob. The three of them made a vibrant centerpiece in the book of life. He is predeceased by his beloved brothers Bill and Bob. Now once again they are all together.

He was also predeceased by his beloved and gracious sister Marcia.

He leaves behind his beautiful, thoughtful, and beloved sister, Patricia, and her caring husband, Claude.

Of course, the special joys of his life left behind are his incredible children, his beloved Aaron and gorgeous Nadia. Faithful Aaron’s beloved daughter Kaitlyn and lovely Nadia and her loyal husband Michael, along with their incredibly beautiful and beloved children, Colin, Paige, Brooke, and Zack are all left behind.

He also leaves behind his caring, beloved wife of 48 years, Kathryn.

He also leaves behind his incredible nieces and nephews. Marcia’s children, beloved Jason, Marny, Griffin, and Riley; Bob’s children, the incredible Kristy and Dina; and Bill and Renate’s incredible children Patricia, Tanya, and Brian.

Others left behind are his brother and sister-in-laws, David and Nancy, their children Stephen, his wife Deb, and Christine, her husband Ed and faithful Dennis and Pam along with their children Seth, his wife Emily and Joel, his wife Jing.

And last but not least for sure he leaves behind his special and dear friend, Sr. Catherine.

Jim so very much loved his country and his family. May he find peace in Heaven above.
