James H. Greenough entered his eternal rest on March 3, 2017, at 72 years old.
He was originally from Townsend, MA, but raised in Concord, NH by his loving foster parents Constance and Edward.
After graduation from Concord High School, James enlisted into the United States Navy and served his country proudly during the Vietnam War.
He is remembered for his skilled labor on New England bridges. For him, it was a labor of love which he contributed many years. He also loved old county western music. He attracted friends easily with his kind personality.
He is survived by his two sons, Timothy Greenough and wife Bonnie of Allenstown, and Howard Gagnon of New Boston; brother Wayne Greenough; former spouse Tammy Greenough of Manchester; girlfriend Debbie Luce of Laconia; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and many cousins and close friends of the family.
Services will be held by Phaneuf Funeral Home on Friday March 17, 2017, at 1 PM, at the NH State Veterans Cemetery Chapel, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH., www.nhsvc.com
