He is known for his warm personality, quick wit, and infectious laughter, and a lot of advice on various topics from cooking to how to use tools; he had many duplicates of the same tool that he didn’t need. He made friends some life-long easily. Friends and family were a priority in his life. He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren deeply, as well as his many nieces and nephews. There were so many things he absolutely was passionate about besides his family. In the day he was an avid swimmer and took part on swim teams, life guarded and was on a team in the Air Force, as well as bowling with friends which led him and his wife to travel for tournaments and vacations. He enjoyed playing guitar, fishing, cooking; salt was a must at his table. He frequented the casinos where playing video poker for hours was his jam. He loved sports. He followed and loved the Red Sox and the New England Patriots; even while living in New Jersey.
