Jim grew up in Pennsauken, NJ. and was a graduate of Merchantville High School. Shortly after his senior graduation he proudly enlisted in the Air Force, where he trained and worked as an Aircraft Electrical Repairman working on aircraft and missiles. He was stationed at Otis Air Force Base in Cape Code, Mass. Later Jim spent many years working in grocery store management and traveled as a grocery broker.

Then eventually with a few more moves found their way back to Jersey to be with family and friends. Later he moved to New Hampshire to be with his daughter and her family.

Jim was a devoted husband, father, grand-father, great grand-father. He is known for his warm personality, quick wit, and infectious laughter, and a lot of advice on various topics from cooking to how to use tools; he had many duplicates of the same tool that he didn’t need. He made friends some life-long easily. Friends and family were a priority in his life. He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren deeply, as well as his many nieces and nephews. There were so many things he absolutely was passionate about besides his family. In the day he was an avid swimmer and took part on swim teams, life guarded and was on a team in the Air Force, as well as bowling with friends which led him and his wife to travel for tournaments and vacations. He enjoyed playing guitar, fishing, cooking; salt was a must at his table. He frequented the casinos where playing video poker for hours was his jam. He loved sports. He followed and loved the Red Sox and the New England Patriots; even while living in New Jersey.
