James Laroche Sr. 57, died on December 27th, 2018 after a long and courageous fight with cancer. Born on June 3rd, 1961 to Leon and Cecile Laroche in Manchester NH, James would continue to spend the majority of his life in Manchester.
Throughout his life, James enjoyed various jobs in which he could utilize his greatest skill of being able to build and fix things. Whether it be as a mechanic, a painter, or a private contractor, James was always known as a loyal and hardworking employee who could be depended on to get the job done and provide for his family. His greatest pride came later in life, when he helped build and operate Laroche Remodeling, where he helped grow the business alongside his son Shawn. James also proudly served in the US Army for several years prior to his employment.
James will be remembered for his generous heart and loyalty to friends and family. He was known by family, friends and community as someone they could depend on for help, guidance and advice, and was always the first to volunteer when someone was in need. He loved his work, in which he took great pride in, and also loved camping with family and being outdoors. Above all, James loved his family immensely, and cherished time spent with them, especially during Christmas. During his final days, James held on just so he could say goodbye to his grandson Dominick. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched.
