James Edward Linscott, 59, died peacefully while surrounded by his loving family following a brief and sudden illness on March 8, 2015 at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Ma..
Jim was born in Fitchburg, Ma. to Marjorie (Pell) and Edward Linscott on August 6, 1955. He was educated in the Pepperell, Ma. school system.
On August 11, 1972, he married the love of his life, Jerilyn Moran. Together, they went on to raise three wonderful children. He was employed as a buyer in the medical and manufacturing industry for most of his life and, most recently, he worked at Centorr Vacuum Industries in Nashua, NH.
He loved playing his guitar, listening to music and vacationing on the coasts of New Hampshire and Maine. But, Jim's real passion in life was his family. He especially enjoyed his precious granddaughter, Hannah and giving her "sloppy kisses" anytime he could. He looked forward with excitement to meeting his second grandchild, who will be born in October.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jerilyn (Moran) Linscott, his son Jason Linscott and his wife, Courtney of Londonderry, NH; his daughter Amy Linscott and her wife, Rebecca Mason of Los Gatos, Ca., his son Benjamin Linscott of Nashua, NH., his beloved granddaughter, Hannah Linscott and close family friends, Gary Kudalis and his wife Diane and their 2 girls, Taylor and Carly, all of Pelham, NH. He is also survived by his mother, Marjorie Linscott of Ayer, Ma., his brother Todd Linscott and his wife Carol of Hudson, NH, siblings John, Marsha, Nancy and Janice as well as several nieces and nephews.
Although there will be no formal service, a Celebration of Life that will include coffee and light refreshments will be held on Saturday March 14, 2015 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover St, Manchester, NH. Burial at Edgewood Cemetery in Nashua, NH will be held privately for his immediate family only.
