James McKenna lll

James J. McKenna III, 62, of Milford, died October 12, 2002 at Community Hospice in Merrimack after a lengthy bout with cancer. Mr. McKenna was born on December 7, 1939 in Newton, MA son of the late James J. and Gertrude (McJuary) McKenna Jr.. He was a U S Air Force Veteran who served during Vietnam. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and American Legion in Milford. Mr. McKenna spent 7 years in Saudi Arabia working for Northrop Corp.. Upon returning home he worked for NPC in Milford for several years and was forced to retire due to his illness. He enjoyed playing pool and cards and had traveled extensively with his wife. Family members include; his wife of 38 years, Lilian Jeannette (Fischer) McKenna; one sister, Kathleen Aitchison of Milford; three nieces; two nephews; and several grand nieces and grand nephews. He also leaves behind many close family members in France. A Graveside service will be held on Friday, October 18th at 11:00 AM at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
