James H. Lodge, 95, died Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at the New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton, NH. He was born on February 28, 1927 in Manchester, NH, the son of the late James C. and Helen (Snook) Lodge. He and his wife, Janet (Brady) Lodge, shared 70 years of marriage.

Jim attended Central High School in Manchester, NH and would later serve in the United States Army. During WWII, he served in the U.S. Army with the 88th Infantry Division in Italy and later re-enlisted for the U.S. Army Air Corp. Upon returning from military duty, he began his electrical apprenticeship with I.B.E.W. Local #719 and later transferred to I.B.E.W. Local #490. He worked as an electrician and estimator for 42 years, retiring in 1989. For many years he worked for J.J. Reilly Electric in Manchester, NH.

Jim was a 32nd Degree Mason with the Lafayette Lodge and also a Shriner with Bektash Temple. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association. Jim was also an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting and boating.

Jim is survived by his wife of 70 years, Janet B. Lodge of Hooksett, NH; his sister, Mrs. Nancy Whalen of Pepperell, MA; his son, Jeffrey Lodge and his wife Cheryl of Hooksett, NH; his daughter, Debra Jacobs and her husband Michael of Manchester, NH; his son, Thomas Lodge of Hooksett, NH; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Jim was predeceased by his brother, Robert E. Lodge.
