James Carlton Macaulay

James Carlton Macaulay Sr of Danville, New Hampshire passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry, New Hampshire. James was born in Medford Massachusetts, the son of Percy and Ida Macaulay (Phillips). James graduated from Medford High School, Class of 1947. Following graduation, he enlisted in the US Army and served in the Korean War. After returning from the war he went on to have a long, successful career in appliance repair.

He married Roberta Esdale and settled in Middleton, Massachusetts where he raised his three children. James and Roberta celebrated 64 years of marriage in August. James was an active member of Middleton Congregational Church. He earned his private pilot's license at Beverly airport, was an antique car enthusiast and enjoyed traveling with his Family
.
James was predeceased by his wife Roberta and is survived by his sister Margaret; his daughters Janice Macaulay, Caroline and her husband Domenic DiPasquale; his son James Macaulay Jr and his wife Ilze; and 5 grandchildren; Vanessa Healy, Shawn Healy, Brian Healy, Nicholas DiPasquale and Thomas DiPasquale.
