James "Alan" MacNaughton

James Alan Banks MacNaughton, “Alan” as he was more commonly known, passed away in his home on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.

Alan was born in Crieff, Scotland and graduated with honors, majoring in Chemistry before moving to America with his wife, Brenda and dog, Tory.

Alan was an athlete his whole life playing many sports, but most of his friends will have fond memories of him on both the tennis courts and golf courses.

Throughout his time in America, Alan owned and operated many successful businesses in the fastener industry, the most recent being “Fastener Wholesalers of NH” out of Nashua, NH.

Alan is survived by his loving daughter, Samantha Vachon and Kevin Vachon; four grandchildren, Jackson (his favorite), Cooper, London and Lincoln; son, Ross MacNaughton; and brother Kenneth McNaughton. He is predeceased by his wife, Brenda Hatton MacNaughton.
