James E. Martorana

James (Jimmy) Martorana, 48, of Windham, NH formerly of Medford, MA passed away peacefully on April 24th, 2020, at his home in the arms of his beloved wife, Suzanne Martorana, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Jimmy was an incredible Dad and proud of his young sons Jayce and Braydon Martorana, who he loved more than anything in the world. He was a wonderful husband, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. Jimmy was one of a kind and was adored by his family and friends. He was a true gentleman, caring, kind and always had a smile on his face. He loved the beach and traveling with family, taking his boys to the movies and Disney World, and was an avid sports fan. He was an incredible athlete but always remained humble. He led his Bridgewater State baseball team to the College World Series and was later inducted into the Medford High School Hall of Fame. Jimmy was an amazing human being and without him our lives will never be the same. He lived life to the fullest, loved with all his heart and showed us true love. Family was everything to him. We had it all and then lost it all when he left us. If love could have saved him, he would have lived forever. We will forever be grateful to be part of his loving family circle.

He was the son of the late Gaetano (Guy) and Guadalupe Martorana. Jimmy was the loving brother of Guy Martorana and his late wife Judy of Hoover, Alabama, Allan Martorana and his wife Anne Marie of Medford, Craig Martorana and his partner Bette Gilmore of Everett, Roger Martorana and his wife Nina of Arlington, Michelle Berluti and her husband Robert of Westwood, David Martorana and his wife Jocelyn of Naples, Florida. Jimmy was the loving son-in-law of Moira Keniston of Tewksbury and Fred Keniston of Medford, brother-in-law of Fred Keniston and his partner Carolyn Taylor of Litchfield, Paige Durant and her husband Thomas of Tewksbury, Sheri Ritchie and her husband Thomas of Dracut and Todd Keniston and his wife Heather of Saint Augustine, Florida. Jimmy leaves behind 22 nieces and nephews, 7 great nieces and nephews and many other family members and friends that loved him.

In accordance with restrictions on gatherings due to COVID-19, public services and a celebration of life will take place at a later date so all of those who loved Jimmy may be in attendance and he receives the services he deserves.
