James A McIntire, 58, died on April 5, 2024, at Concord Hospital in Concord, NH after a sudden illness. He was born on June 26, 1965, in Wolfeboro, NH, the son of the late Delma and Elsie McIntire.
James was the husband of Jeannine McIntire, married on November 13, 2004, in Wolfeboro, NH.
He graduated from Kingwood Regional High School in 1983 and started as a marine technician in May of 1990. He was employed at Melvin Village Marina for 17 years, Independent Marina for 7 years, and Lane End Marina for 10 years working for Tim Fillion. He was most recently employed by Wolfeboro Boat Company working for Trel Hartford. He was extremely knowledgeable of the trade and enjoyed teaching the younger generations the ropes.
His hobbies included tinkering with cars, snowmobiles, and anything he could get his hands on. His passion was his 1968 cougar that he loved tinkering and working on it with his son Tyler. He also loved working alongside his son on his 1986 pickup truck.
He was a kind man that would give the shirt off his back for someone in need, he was always thinking of others before himself. He wasn’t a man of many words and if he talked, you better be listening because he ain’t saying it twice.
James was predeceased by his father Delma McIntire, mother Elsie McIntire, and friend Justin Hartford.
He is survived by his wife Jeannine McIntire; sons Keven McIntire, Tyler McIntire, and Steven Levasseur; daughter Tiffenie Mikoski and husband Andrew; aunt Sandra Straw; sisters Debbie and Donna; nieces Jessica Bryant and Amanda Fullerton; in-laws Chester and Sharon Ayres; and his grandchildren Maddie, Bella, Lilly, Andrew Jr., Elijah, Mayiah, and Maddy.
There will be a graveside service at Townhouse Cemetery in Tuftonboro, NH planned for early summer of 2024 for family and friends to say their final goodbyes.
