James Patterson

James Richard Patterson, 63, died on June 19, 2021 at ¬¬¬Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, NH.

Born on November 29, 1957 in Haverhill, Mass, James is the son of the late Richard and Audrey (DeRusha) Patterson. James married the love of his life, Nancy Jean (Sliger) Patterson, on November 17, 1995.

A long-time employee of the car industry, James worked in sales, management, and finance. He was dedicated husband and stepfather who took great pride in caring for his family. James was employed at Portsmouth Ford from 1993 to present day.

For many years, James enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Riding with his Brothers & Sisters, James developed deep and lasting friendships. He loved to keep close to them all online and always shared a good for a joke or dog-dog pic of the day. James will be best remembered for his warm heart for animals, jovial sense of humor, and love of family.

James is survived by his wife, Nancy Patterson; stepson, Scot MacInnis; stepdaughter, Melissa MacInnis Powers and husband William Powers; three grandchildren, Sheamus, Liliann, and Liam; three beloved pets, Dog-dog, Cat-cat & Pig-pig; and extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, James was predeceased by his older brother, William Patterson and sister, Jayne Hitchcock.

ARRANGEMENTS: No formal services will be held at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held privately at a later date for the family and friends.
