James T. Robinson

James T. Robinson, Sr., 69, of 328 Plain Road, Bath, NH, died at his home May 4, 2003. He was born in Wardsboro, Vermont on March 18, 1934, the son of Travis and Nora (Boyd) Robinson and has been residing in Bath since 1970. James was a graduate of Leland Gray Seminary in Townsend, Vermont and Lyndon State College in Lyndonville, Vermont. He was a self employed plumber and electrician for many years and was also Director of buildings and grounds for Austine Schools of Brattleboro, Vermont and Southern Berkshire Regional School in Sheffield, Ma. James was an avid hunter, fisherman and bridge player. He loved camping. He was a communicant of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Woodsville, NH. Family members include his wife of 48 years, Ida L. Wilson, a son James T. Robinson, Jr., both of Bath, NH, his predeceased son, Kimball C. Robinson, his predeceased daughter, Melissa L. Robinson-Miller, four grandchildren, Emily Robinson of Bath, NH, Justin Robinson-Miller, Travis Robinson-Miller, Sarah Robinson-Miller and the son-in-law Charles Miller, all of Littleton, NH, four grandchildren, Amanda Ordway, Abby Ordway, Peter Wright and David Wright, one great granddaughter, Kendriana Leno, all of Bath, NH, six sisters, Elizabeth Druke of Brattleboro, Vermont, Irene Brooks of Newfane, Vermont, Mary Laitres of Brattleboro, Vermont, Polly Casanova of Newfane, Vermont, Louise McGourty of Allenstown, NH and Sally Herring of North Carolina, a nephew, Douglas A. Brooks of Newfane, Vermont, Angie Wingard of Connecticut, whom was raised by James and Ida, several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: Relatives and friends are welcomed to a celebration of his life , at his home, on Sunday, May 25th from 11 AM to 2 PM. A graveside service will be at 2 PM in Swiftwater Cemetery, Swiftwater, NH with Father Daniel Sinibaldi, officiating. Donations may be made to the Robinson-Miller Children Educational Fund, c/o Wells River Savings, Attn: Katie Thayer, Wells River, Vermont 05081. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire is in charge of arrangements.
