James R. Snyder, 67, of Main Street in Bethlehem died on May 11, 2002 at his home after a long battle with PSP, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. Jim was born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania the youngest son of Lyle and Laura (Jacobs) Snyder. He served in the United States Air Force and retired from Cable Services of Williamsport, PA. He is survived by his wife, Norma Snyder; one brother, William Snyder of Williamsport, PA; one sister, Marilyn Fronk of Pahromp, NV; three stepchildren, Larry Herrington of Arlington, VT, Beverly Durand of Jacksonville, FL and Richard Herrington of Bethlehem, NH. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours or local services. A graveside service will be held later in the month in Montoursville Cemetery in Pennsylvania.
