James E. Spear, 81, of Deerfield NH, passed away in his home April 1st, 2021 from complications related to heart disease. The son of late Anna and Everett Spear, James was born August 26th,1939 in Hudson Massachusetts. Here he resided with his parents and three brothers Leonard, Richard and Robert.
James graduated from Marlboro Highschool in 1958 and continued his education at Northeastern University.
He served three consecutive terms as a staff sergeant in the Army National Guard before being honorably discharged in 1965.
James married his wife Louise Felix in 1966 and moved to their farmhouse in Deerfield, NH where they had two daughters Suzanne and Marianna Spear.
James worked as a supervisor for Thomas Taylor & Sons. He continued his work in sales for many years traveling the United States and abroad. He also enjoyed his time being self employed as a carpenter.
He loved being with family and was always there to lend a hand to friends and neighbors.
You could always find James outside, whether he was enjoying yard work at his home in Deerfield, fishing, hunting, camping, or gardening; it was a fondness for the outdoors that he passed down to his daughters and grandchildren.
James is survived by his daughter Suzanne Menczywor and her husband Ron of Deerfield NH and three grandchildren Arianna Spear, Cameron Kenyon, and Megan Kenyon.
A gathering in memory of James will be held on Sunday April 18th, 2021 from 3:00pm-6:00pm at the Elks Club; 24 Old Mill Road Epsom NH, 03234.
